ncPlantDB (Plant Non-coding RNA Database) is a comprehensive database designed to facilitate research and discovery in the field of plant non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) and ncRNA-encoded peptides (ncPEPs). The database provides extensive information on various ncRNA-related entities. In the current version, ncPlantDB contains 353,140 ncRNAs and 3,799 ncPEPs across 43 species, phylogenetically ranging from chlorophytes to embryophytes. The database focuses on the translational potential of ncRNAs, offering extensive data on potential coding sequences and experimentally validated functional peptides. Additionally, ncPlantDB provides detailed information on cell-specific interaction networks and co-translational interaction networks.
