Your journey to Hotel.
Your arrival destination is Hangzhou Zheda Yuanzheng Qizhen Crystal Hotel, 671 Gudun Road. Take Metro Line 2 to Sanba, then walk to the hotel.

From Xiaoshan Airport
LINE 19Xiaoshan International Airport → Shentangqiao
Follow Metro signs and take Line 19 towards West Railway Station (火车西站). Get off at Shentangqiao (沈塘桥).
LINE 2Shentangqiao → Sanba
Transfer within the station to Line 2 towards Liangzhu (良渚). Get off at Sanba (三坝) and use Exit B3 or C.
Walk to Qizhen Crystal Hotel
Follow the map to 671 Gudun Road; allow about 5–10 minutes on foot. Allow roughly 1.5 hours from the airport metro station to the hotel, including transfers and walking.

Allow about 1–1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Show the Chinese destination below; use the metered or quoted fare.

Connect to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station
PVG: take the Airport Link Line from Pudong Terminal 1 & 2 to Hongqiao Terminal 2 (about 40 minutes on the train), then follow signs to the railway station. SHA: walk from Terminal 2; from Terminal 1, take Metro Line 10 to Hongqiao Railway Station.
Book a train to Hangzhou East
Search for Shanghai Hongqiao (上海虹桥) → Hangzhou East (杭州东) on Railway 12306. Allow time for immigration, baggage collection and the airport transfer before your train.
Continue via Metro Lines 19 & 2
Follow the Hangzhou East route on this page to Sanba (三坝). Use Exit B3 or C and walk to Qizhen Crystal Hotel at 671 Gudun Road.

From Hangzhou East
LINE 19East Railway Station → Shentangqiao
Follow signs to Metro Line 19 at East Railway Station (East Square), 火车东站（东广场）. Travel towards West Railway Station (火车西站) and get off at Shentangqiao (沈塘桥).
LINE 2Shentangqiao → Sanba
Transfer to Line 2 towards Liangzhu (良渚), get off at Sanba (三坝) and use Exit B3 or C.
Continue to Qizhen Crystal Hotel
Walk about 5–10 minutes to the hotel at 671 Gudun Road. Allow roughly 45–60 minutes from the railway arrival concourse, including station access, transfers and walking.

The programme is for researchers in biology and medicine from developing countries. Applicants must hold a completed bachelor’s degree or higher, hold a formal position at an institution, and be no more than 45 years of age. Enrolled students are not accepted at this time. The 2026 cohort has a maximum of 20 participants. Please consult the application guide for the application procedure.
What costs are covered?
There is no registration fee. Accommodation and meals are provided free of charge. Round-trip travel expenses are not covered by the programme.
Where will the training take place?
The programme is hosted by the College of Life Sciences, Zhejiang University, at 866 Yuhangtang Road, Xihu District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. Confirm arrival and room arrangements with the programme team.
What is the working language?
The working language is English. Teaching combines lectures, hands-on exercises, institutional visits and project presentations.
