PncPEPDB is the first database that provides information of peptides encoded from non-coding RNAs. Recent studies showed the protein-coding potential of non-coding RNAs, indicating that they might be source of some special proteins. Our database enables user to retrieve the detailed properties of these non-coding peptides, and their interaction with proteins and miRNAs, with BLAST module also available for sequence search.
In further plan, the prediction of interaction between miRNA and ncPEPs can be added. Genome browser are also presented in detail page. All genome annotation and sequence data for a species can be downloaded from the download page.
